Crust
6 tbsp cold butter
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup peanut butter
Pie
2-8oz packages of cream cheese
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk (room temp.)
3/4 cup peanut butter
3 cups already whipped sweetened heavy whipping cream
white/dark chocolate shavings for garnish (optional)
chopped peanuts for garnish (optional)
Prepare the crust first. In a medium bowl, mix in flour, salt and sugar. Chop the butter in small lumps and cut into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs. Mix in the peanut butter. Press into 10 inch pie dish and bake in 350 degree oven for about 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly brown. Remove and cool on rack.
For the pie, beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl until smooth. Add the peanut butter and beat until smooth. Next, pour in the milk and beat well. Fold in the 2 cups whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture and spoon into the prepared crust. Refrigerate until firm. Remove from fridge and shave white chocolate on top. Add the remaining whipped cream and garnish with more dark chocolate and top off with chopped peanuts. Enjoy!!
