My step daughter-in-law (Roxy) told me that I needed to do something for myself as I am always crocheting for others. So, I took her advice and finally made a cowl for myself. I was going through the etsy website and found so many beautiful scarves and cowls. There was one in particular that caught my eye and I wanted to try and make it. I made up my own pattern (as it did not have a pattern for me to follow) and I think that it came out beautifully. It was not as beautiful as the one I saw but I am very happy with my results. I went back to the site to see if I can post a picture of it along with what I designed but it was no longer there. Someone bought the cowl and I can't blame them - it was gorgeous!! Anyway, mine was made with Sayelle knitted worsted yarn in dusty rose. My daughter was the model for this and she did a great job!! There's so many ways in which you can wear this cowl. Leave a comment and tell me what you think of it.

AuthorThe best way to describe me is a person who loves to make others happy. Whether I bake something sweet to eat to satisfy the soul, or crochet something to wear to warm the body, I aim to please those around me! This gives me joy and a sense of fulfillment that I have done my part in making others happy! Archives
