4 to 6 matzohs
2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cups coarsely chopped white and dark chocolate (or you can use chocolate chips)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 1 or 2 cookie sheets with foil and cover with baking parchment or just spray pan with Pam over foil and wipe with napkin. Line sheet with matzohs evenly cutting extra to fit any spaces.
Cook butter and sugar until boiling in saucepan. Boil for about 2 minutes constantly stirring. Remove from heat and pour evenly and completely over matzoh. Bake for 15 minutes. Every 5 minutes check to make sure it's not burning (if so, take out of oven and reduce temperature to 325 and replace). Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chopped chocolate. Let stand for 5 minutes then spread the chocolate over the matzoh while still warm.
Variations:
You can just use white chocolate, chopped or slivered almonds, or omit the chocolate and leave just the butter crunch.
